Hello, I’m Kate.I bring over 30 years of professional experience, including almost two decades in recruitment and more than ten years specialising in executive and board-level CV writing.I began my career in recruitment before co-founding, building, and selling a commercial recruitment business. During that time, I reviewed thousands of CVs and saw firsthand how appointment decisions were influenced not only by experience, but by how clearly that experience was articulated.That insight became the focus of my work.I have since produced over 300 executive biographies and professional profiles for RSM International through a long-term contract, and continue to specialise in executive and board-level CV writing for C-suite leaders across FTSE, PE-backed, international, and entrepreneurial organisations.My approach is structured and forensic. I apply a proven methodology with rigorous attention to evidence, fact-checking, and individual positioning -
ensuring leadership capability, decision-making authority, and commercial value are clearly demonstrated in documentation that withstands scrutiny at executive and board level.
I built my reputation long before AI - by listening properly, asking better questions, and understanding how senior appointment decisions are really made.
AI is a powerful tool, but it cannot apply 30 years of recruitment judgement.
It cannot assess what will stand up in a boardroom, what needs to be evidenced, what weakens positioning, or what should be removed entirely.
What I DoI specialise in executive and board-level CV writing for senior executives, C-suite leaders, and those pursuing Non-Executive Director appointments.My work focuses on positioning leadership experience clearly and credibly so it supports appointment decisions at executive, board, and committee level.Each CV is written personally by me and is fully bespoke, evidence-based, and defensible in interview.LinkedIn profiles, executive biographies, and supporting documentation are provided where required. All documents are optimised for applicant tracking systems and executive search visibility.How I WorkEvery engagement begins with understanding what the CV needs to achieve.
I review existing documentation and ask focused questions to clarify the commercial challenges addressed, the decisions made, the outcomes
achieved, and the impact created.
Each role is structured to demonstrate strategic judgement and leadership capability - ensuring the emphasis is on results, not task descriptions.
